Jennifer Howell, D.O.

A graduate of Salpointe High School and member of the Salpointe Sports Hall of Fame, Jennifer Howell, D.O. received her degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Tulsa in 1998.  She then spent a year in service with AmeriCorps before attending medical school at Oklahoma State University.  She completed her residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center where she served as chief resident and was named “National Outstanding Resident of the Year”.  Dr. Howell worked as a private practice OB/GYN in Detroit and Chicago prior to returning home to Tucson.

Dr. Howell is board certified.  Her practice philosophy involves educating her patients on how to optimize their health and partnering with them to create a treatment plan.  Her approach to patient care is a compassionate and holistic one.  It may include lifestyle changes, medical treatment, and surgery when appropriate.
