Sonograms and ultrasound services at Genesis OB/GYN are provided by board certified OB/GYN physicians, with special insight into the subtleties of female anatomy and fetal development.

The Center is accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine (AIUM) to perform first, second and third trimester obstetrical ultrasounds, and gynecological and abdominal ultrasounds.  AIUM accreditation is the hallmark of an ultrasound practice that meets nationally accepted standards of patient care, demonstrates consistent excellence, and is current with the latest ultrasound technology.

Sonograms during pregnancy: Sonograms are done when medically indicated (to assist us in determining your due date, to check on the growth of the baby, to assess bleeding, to survey the baby and placenta, etc).  We only order sonograms and ultrasounds for medical reasons.		   Obstetrical Sonogram
